Lockshields
Aside from the inlet valve to the radiator, a lockshield should be installed at the outlet with shut-off and regulation functions.
IVAR lockshields are offered in the standard version (series 300) or as a twin of the corresponding inlet valve, also in coaxial figures (series 200). In both cases, the pipe connection can be female or male, while the radiator connection is the standard tapered seal, pipe union with O-ring or reduced 3/8’’ version (for EUROK valves).
VK series lockshields are characterised by the female connection to the radiator with the rotating nut which screws onto the specific male adaptor fitting installed beforehand on the radiator.
