Thermostats
IVAR offers a complete range of digital thermostats and timed thermostats for regulation of individual environments, characterised especially for their intuitiveness in use.
The line of AC 701 thermostats is available in the variant for heating only (or cooling only) applications with the simple battery power supply and incremental buttons for changing the temperature setting. They are also available in versions with the same thermostat complete with ON/OFF button (AC 701A) or the 230 VAC powered version which also works in hot/cold mode (AC 701B).
IVAR also proposes two timed thermostats AC 710 (for heating only) and AC 711 (for hot/cold) with backlit display and possibility of programming on/off time slots during the day/week. AC 711 also has three outlets to change the speed of a fancoil.
IVAR’s range of regulation and control devices is further extended with the JUSTO timer thermostat and JUSTO LITE thermostat. JUSTO provides hourly scheduling for every day of the week in 30 minute slots. The device offers both on/off and PWM operation. In PWM mode, it is able to reduce activation times by also taking thermal inertia into account, thus obtaining a more stable ambient temperature which is less susceptible to oscillations and offers greater comfort and energy savings.
JUSTO LITE, on the other hand, is an on/off thermostat for heating/cooling.
The Justo range of thermostats is completed with the Justo and Justo Lite wireless versions. In this version, the thermostat (or timer thermostat) is supplied along with a plug containing a wireless receiver and relay.
The thermostat installed in the environment sends the heating request to the wireless receiver via radio. The receiver installed near the boiler provides the call for activation of the generator.
This solution allows the thermostat to be easily installed in the environment without the need for costly and difficult wiring installations to connect the thermostat to the boiler.
Obviously, the wireless receiver can also be used to operate a zone valve or supply the call signal for fancoils to turn on.
It is also possible to pair a single thermostat with up to six wireless receivers, thus allowing a single thermostat to provide the call signal to multiple terminal devices (e.g. fancoils) located in the same environment.
