Single-pipe thermostatic valves
Single-pipe thermostatatic valves can be fitted with a manual knob which can completely isolate the heating body and regulate flow rate from 0 to 100% with a high reduction of head loss. When fitted with a thermostatic head, the heating body can be supplied with flow rate equal to 30% of the circuit total with Δ=2K.
The valve does not allow the flow to be inverted (pay attention to the arrow stamped on the body). To use the valve correctly and to improve circulation of the fluid in the heating body, we recommend lengthening the probe with a tube of appropriate diameter, to reach a total length equal to that of the radiator, less 5-10 cm.
